Some of the activities Berean Academy, a private Christian school located in the Hixson area of Chattanooga Tennessee offers are: Honor Society, TACS Competition, Choir, volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, cheerleading and baseball.

Honor Society

Students in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to participate in the Tennessee Association of Christian schools (TACS) Honor Society if they meet the requirements.

TACS Competition

Each year students from Berean Academy have an opportunity to participate in the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools competition event. Preparation for this event begins early in the school year and the actual competition begins in February. Areas of competition include Music, (choirs, ensenbles, solos and instruments), academics, art, Bible, and speech. By participating in these events we hope to provide the student with opportunities to experience competition on a personal and group level. Our goal is that competition be a positive experience that can help prepare students for their future.

Boys: Soccer in the Fall for boys 4-6
Soccer in the Spring for HS 7-12
Basketball in the Winter for boys 4-12 grades
Junior High Football in the Fall for grades 6-8

Girls: Soccer in the Fall 4-6 grades
Volleyball in the Fall 6-12 grades.
Basketball in the Winter 4-12 grades.
Cheerleading for Winter sports 4-12 grades.
Tennis in the Spring for 6-8 grades

Co-Ed
Elementary Soccer in the Fall for grades 4-6

Choir

Choir is required for grades 1-6, optional for grades 7-8 and offered as a credit for grades 9-12
