7th-12th Summer Reading Requirements
Each student will be required to read a novel and write about the novel when he/she returns to school. The student will need to be able to write a brief summary of the plot of the novel, as well as answer several basic essay questions. These questions are designed to demonstrate to the teacher that the student has read and understood the novel. The grade received from the report will be entered into the composition portion of the students English grade. The summer reading is not extra-credit.
